2015 marks Andy's 3rd year owning, managing
and working the successful and growing THUMBS
UP CONSTRUCTION SERVICES. Prior to the founding
of this company, he acquired a great deal of his
managing and construction expertise as Head
Foreman with another Tri-State company. Not
being satisfied with nominal control of the out-come of many of his projects, he began to put
together a team of skilled, capable craftsmen and set out on his own.
The ever-expanding list of accomplishments for which his company is responsible includes, but is not limited to the following: Contingent Networking Services Complex, Beckett Road Reno, St. Therese in Lebanon, 14,000 square foot custom built home with extraordinary, unique features; One Lytle Place reno of their apartments ( as they are vacated), Grandin House reno of their apartments (as they are vacated); a historic home reno in Lebanon, Ohio and more .......
Andy's work ethic began to be formed before he was a teenager. He attributes much of his ability to run a very successful enterprise to his father. As one of the youngest owners of a premiere construction and maintenance company in the Tri-State, he has already won several awards.

Ms. Elkins brings 50+ years of business and office experience to her position as Office Manager for Thumbs Up Construction Services. And, she explains, "now
I have the opportunity to learn the "ins" and "outs" of construction - an industry with which she had not been previously familiar. That makes every new job an "adventure" Betty claims. She says the flexibility of the job; i.e., not having to stay behind a desk all day, is one of the most important benefits of all!
Being a native of the Tri-State area, she comfortably navigates to any jobsite or
county department necessary to carry out a job. The use of her extensive and varied background in photography and graphics goes a long way toward fulfilling some of the many artistic needs of the company.
Along with competitive ballroom dancing and a love of crafts and gardening, she considers any of the hours spent with her three grandchildren as one of the best uses of her spare time.

George's contributions to the Thumbs Up Business cover a wide range of skills needed to help create the strong foundation upon which the Company has been
built. Steadiness, trustworthiness, dependability and excellence of character are
some of the assets he brings to his job.
When asked about his reasons for liking his position with Thumbs Up, he simply
says because of Andy ... he is the most awesome person for whom anyone could
work. George is the father of two delightful young girls and a son who is 24, with
whom he spends as much time as possible. He was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin and graduated from High School there.
During his spare time, George enjoys sports like fishing, golf and tennis, both participating in them and watching them on TV.

Carsen Fallang, Lead Foreman
As Andy's "right hand man" Carsen can be found on any number of projects, himself working, or overseeing
the work which the sub-contractors are completing. He's a "local" man, having been raised in Middletown,
Ohio and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High. As with all his regular staff, Andy depends on Carsen to
"take over" and make decisions in his place, with the confidence that each job will be carried out as has been
planned.
In addition to construction, maintenance, restoration, etc., Carsen is an accomplished helicopter pilot in his spare time. He says
when asked what his favorite thing is about working for Thumbs Up that the huge amount of freedom and flexibility available is
awesome, along with the trust and friendship he has maintained with the "Boss"!
